My name is Susan Waithera Njonjo, a fifth year student in Maseno taking a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery with IT.
The main reason I decided to join RESPEKT is the project’s initiative. There are a lot of myths and misconceptions concerning sexual health and reproduction which are passed on to our youths and the rest of our younger generation who then end up making poor decisions based on wrong information. RESPEKT gives us a chance to empower the youth with all the information they require regarding sex and reproduction hence providing a platform to rectify the wrongs that have been there for a long time. That is such a breakthrough and I am glad to be a part of it.
