I’m Eugene Gisemba , a medical student at Egerton University. RESPEKT has given me an opportunity to make an impact in the community by directly reaching out to the youth regarding their sexual and reproductive health and more. This has exposed me to a lot of views and concerns on issues facing young individuals from all over the country, especially during school visits. Through RESPEKT, I have been able to explore and fine-tune my creativity in project tasks involving videography, photography, and graphic design. I have also met awesome individuals in RESPEKT who are as passionate as I am. Working on the project with them to achieve our goals has not only been a great learning experience but also a lot of fun. Being a volunteer has definitely empowered me to continue doing more for society.
