I’m Nambiro Angela, a medical student at Moi university. Who is Nambiro? I am an ambitious, extra-ordinary, multi-talented, hardworking, beautiful lady. I love cooking, eating, acting and reading (knowledge excites me).
RESPEKT is more than just a project to me, it has been a growth platform. Through RESPEKT, I have been able to educate and empower so many teenagers, both at home and during the school visits. I have learnt that in order to make an impact in our society all you need is the will and a group of like-minded people. I have found a family in RESPEKT.
Besides RESPEKT, I am involved in so many activities in an effort to make the world a better place. I am a public health enthusiast, currently I’m the National Public Officer for MSAKE (Medical Students Association of Kenya). I am also a Heroes for Change volunteer, trying to improve the health and well-being of my community members. In the fight against human trafficking in East Africa, I am the National coordinator for Unseen-Uganda.
