My name is Barbara Nyaga. I am a MBChB student at Egerton University. My hobbies include singing, playing musical instruments, writing poetry and posting quality memes. As a RESPEKT volunteer, I’ve built my confidence in talking to big crowds of people which is a skill I mastered during the school visits, I have learnt how to work with a team as I also serve in the curriculum development team which falls under the working group, in addition to this, RESPEKT has helped me discover my leadership capability and has immensely contributed to my success being the Local Officer for SCORA in my university through their support the Loud and Clear training and the upcoming Gender Based Violence training . What I value most are the friends I have made in RESPEKT, I have met wonderful people with admirable personalities and in a way, RESPEKT feels like home. I am honoured to be a part of this beautiful family.
